LFGD QUIET 1200 PUMP 296GPH Review

The threading really sucks on the connections. The pump itself works pretty well. The suction cups on the bottom come off too easily. It's okay, not great.

I built a homemade aeroponics system and am using this pump as a way to spray my roots. It works great and is creating a nice multi-stream spray that gets to my roots! Its also relatively quiet with nothing more than a little hum coming from it. The splashing water (in a good trickle sort of way) is heard more loudly than this pump working.

Rio 17HF HyperFlow Water Pump - 1090 GPH Review

Rio 17HF HyperFlow Water Pump - 1090 GPH

[...]
Couldn't wait to kook this baby up to my pond. The Rio 66o GPH was Okay but I wanted more water action so i bought this 1090 GPH pump. What a disappointment. The new pump put out no more water than the old one. I even hooked them up side by side and neither shot a water stream farther than the other.
My old Rio pump has never been a problem in an aquarium or a small pond. There is no more than 1 foot rise needed so that is not a problem.
Perhaps I just got a dog. Either way it is going back.
I do thank the supplier Graystone Industries Inc for their very quick shipping and hope the return is as easy..

Hydor Pico Evo-Mag 180 gph Circulation Pump for Aquariums and Terrariums Review

Hydor Pico Evo-Mag 180 gph Circulation Pump for Aquariums and Terrariums
Average Reviews:

This is a great little unit for its size and price. I have it in the back of a JBJ nano cube and it is doing a fantastic job moving the water through the sump. I think for the price you really can't go wrong with this pump. I will only give it four stars though because for some reason it is a bit noisy for my picky ears. However, knowing this I still would buy it again! I have been in the aquarium hobby for 5-7 years and I have never seen a pump that moves water like this thing does and allows for such a wide range of uses from a simple pump to moving water through a sump. This is a smart well made little pump!!

This product is perfect for the small waterfall I am building in my water dragon habitat. It it very small and quiet, plus the nozzle adjustment is really easy and reliable. There is nothing fancy about this product. It sucks in water and spits it back out.

Rio 20HF HyperFlow Water Pump - 1290 GPH Review

Rio 20HF HyperFlow Water Pump - 1290 GPH
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The RIO HF series of pumps is an excellent value. I just replaced my old RIO 20HF with a new one after several years of faithful service. They run quietly, have low energy consumption and can push a large volume of water.
Sure there are better pumps, but those are going to cost you quite a bit more money. It is really hard to beat the value of these pumps especially considering the amount of use I got out of them.
My only real negative is that these pumps do seem to give off quite a bit of heat into the water. I don't have anything to compare this against though.
Overall, I have been very pleased with all the RIO pumps that I have owned.

Average Reviews:

I had to return this pump because i was too loud for my reef tank application. I intended to use this pump as a sump return pump, because of the over head pressure, the pump was making too much noise. I switched to a Mag 9.5 and what a big difference. I still love Rio pumps but for other applications, like fitting a chiller, protein skimmer and the likes where head pressure is not an issue.

It would be most appreciated if you or the manufacturer would post gph graphs for different heights, rather than just saying a height limit. What does the height limit mean? that flow reduces to zero at that height, or that's the limit for the gph listed, or that it's the height of any useful flow. It's frustrating knowing my desired gph and height, and not knowing what pump will provide that.

Beckett 7061310 350gph Submersible Pump with 16' Cord Review

Beckett 7061310 350gph Submersible Pump with 16' Cord
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased to replace my 14 year old 350gph Beckett pump so the brand does last. Two design changes on new pump are not ideal: 1) pump no longer has discharge butterfly flow valve, only an intake partial control slide. It makes it impossible to reduce the flow to meet my fountain's needs - should have bought a smaller pump and 2) suction intake is now out to the side and .5-1.5 inches off bottom of pump versus old style suction that was right in the bottom of the pump - leaves get into suction easier and if water level drops a little the pump starts sucking air.

Little Giant PES-120 120 GPH Statuary Fountain Pump Review

Little Giant PES-120 120 GPH Statuary Fountain Pump
Average Reviews:

This little, inexpensive pump works well. I just bought one to replace an identical
unit which reliably powered a medium size outdoor fountain sixteen hours a day, seven
days a week for about six years! That over 30,000 hours of run time. Not bad for a
unit smaller than your fist. I'm impressed.

Little Giant PES-120 120 GPH Magnetic Drive Fountain Pump, 6' Power Cord (519120)120 GPH Statuary Fountain PumpThis wet-rotor pump, often referred to as a magnetic-drive pump by other manufacturers, utilizes an epoxy-encapsulated motor and plastic housing. A permanent magnet is attached to the impeller. The magnet acts as the rotor would in a conventional motor. The water being pumped surrounds the rotor, thus the term "wet-rotor". It is seal-less and oil-less. This pump works well in water garden, statuary, and some industrial applications. It is compact in design and is the most energy efficient type of pump Little Giant manufactures. The other side of this efficiency is very little starting torque. Therefore, the pump does not produce as much pressure and will not pump water as high as its' epoxy-encapsulated counterpart.Little Giant PES-120 120 GPH Magnetic Drive Fountain Pump, 6' Power Cord (519120) Features: ; Built-in flow control; Bottom intake; 4-foot maximum lift; Discharge adapters for 1/2" or 3/8" I.D. tubingLittle Giant PES-120 120 GPH Magnetic Drive Fountain Pump, 6' Power Cord (519120) Specification: ; Horsepower: ; Flow: ; Cord Lenght: 6'; Shut Off: 4'; Voltage: 115; Hertz: 60; Amps: 0.1; Watts: 8; Weight: 1
