Faux Stone Three Tier with Crystal Ball Table Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)AWFUL design. who designed this piece of junk? There is no on/off button for the lamp. Installation for the lamp was a pain if you turn loose the tiny piece of conductor. The light wont turn on if you don't fix the conductor in a certain way. The pump is not powerful enough to turn the "Crystal Ball". The picture is deceiving since it does not come w/ those rocks. Missing some parts on my shipment. You could probably get a better quality product at your local Walmart.

Alpine Courtyard Mini Fountain Home Design Outdoor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful little fountain to look at, however, about half the time when you plug it in, the front spout shoots the water onto your counter top or whatever surface it is sitting on, making a mess! If this continues for any length of time, it would empty the basin and burn up the pump. Perhaps the manufacturer should re-work the design to confirm it will ALWAYS shoot the water back into the reservoir, so this fountain could be safely enjoyed.

Aqua Rock 40 NY Bluestone in Mediterranean Pot Fountain Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a really nice pot fountain. The product itself is really nice. However, This thing weighs over 75lbs and with the large Bluestone rocks put inside it with no padding whatsoever, the inevitable is going to happen. I was so excited at receiving it and eager to use it. Opened it up only to find that the rocks had smashed their way through the side of the pot leaving 2 jagged holes and a big split in the side wall.
The rocks are not secured in any way, and not even wrapped in something to help prevent this from happening. After all was said and done, I contacted Amazon straight away and they said I could either return it or take a $50.00 discount. I took the discount and fixed the pot with aquarium silicone. So far, all is well.
Despite my negative remarks about the packaging etc., this is a very nice pot fountain and makes a nice soothing sound!
Hope this helps.

Large Raku Fountain (28"x22") Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have run the gamut with regard to fountains. Most fountains (especially the cheap table-top kind) run for a couple of months (max) and then the cheaply-made motor stops working. I have thrown away more fountains than I care to mention including some floor fountains that had cost me over $300 a pop (and I threw about 3 of them out so far).
I was looking for a durable fountain for my living room and saw the other review. I decided to give it a shot. I've had it since July (7 months) and it's going strong. I cleaned it out only once (even though it probably could have used two cleanings by now).
I just ordered another one for my office because this fountain is durable, peaceful, and classy. I wish all table-top and floor fountains were this durable and nice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are looking for a floor fountain, please seriously consider getting this one over another floor model, especially those with the rivets where the water runs down them. I've had several of those (and paid over $300 each, as I mentioned before) and was lucky to have one out of the bunch last me 6 months. The rest died about 2 - 4 months after running.
If you want a serious kick a** fountain then this is your model!

Standing Designer Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Purchased 2 for backyard wedding reception. Worked fairly well, one had some trouble adjusting the spray so as to not spray out of the fountain. After the reception I planned to use them in the yard landscape. Living in a rainy area I didn't drain them and the first freeze broke both of them. I understand why it happened and was happy with the original use. It is not however for yards unless you live in a frost free zone.

Kenroy Home #50613CPBZ Kenei Outdoor Floor Fountain in Copper Bronze Finish Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Overall, this is a very nice product. Although it's resin (no surprise there), it has some heft to it (about 35 lbs). Assembly is a snap - you simply pass the pump's power cord down through the large lower basin and the two piece stand, hook the pump itself to the hose feeding out from the small upper basin, fill the larger basin with water and plug it in. Assembly takes about ten minutes and no tools are required - the weight of the stacked components holds it all together. Fit and finish are very good. In size, color, etc., this item looks exactly the way it does in its online photos. A nice feature is the lighting - the pump comes complete with two 10 watt bulbs that clip into the lower basin, creating a very pleasant effect.
The pump itself is whisper quiet, a plus. My only complaint, and a small one at that, is that the fountain makes very little water noise. The pump has an adjustable pressure switch, but even on high, it creates just a mild cascade of water. This may be less an issue of pump strength and more an issue of the very short distance from upper basin to lower - the longer the fall, the louder the water would be. Still, I'm really happy with it - now we'll see how it holds up.

Lumbermill Tabletop Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I ordered this because I like water fountains and water mills. So I was excited to be getting one. It arrived promptly. When I looked at it I noticed that the tubing in the back had a Y valve to divert water from the pump to the upper wheel and to the lower overflow sluice. Not good, because water will take the easiest route, which is down the overflow. No matter what setting I put the pump on, it would not pump water to the wheel. Worse, the water area behind the mill is so cramped it was hard to submerge the pump. I wound up re-tubing it so it would only go to the wheel. That worked, but the wheel kept getting hung up and stopped turning. I'm a bit of a tinkerer, but no matter what problem I fixed, a new one would pop up. I don't usually like to write bad reviews, but this fountain is a total disappointment.

Dark Copper Finish 13" Mini Moonshadow Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this 11/08 and immediately called the manufacturer Bluworld as I thought the product was copper and they said it was lightweight copper. The bowl is lightweight tin and the finish is already starting to bubble off. All they will do is replace pieces. They refuse a refund as well as Kinetic Fountains where I purchased it because the defects were found after 3o days.
I also has slime build up while using recommended products to prevent it.
Avoid at all costs!!!!

Buddha Hand Tabletop Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a nice looking fountain from an aesthetic standpoint. Although it is plastic, it looks much better than most plastic fountains. The water falls from a high that is significant to make a nice sound and you can adjust the waterflow on both the pump and back of the unit.
Initially, I set this up without the splash card to drip one drop at a time. When I came back a few hours later, my furniture was wet. Then, I discovered the splash guard, which I believe it not explained in the instructions. However, I figured that's what it had to be and this seemed to correct this problem.
I don't know if I have a bad pump, but if I turn off my unit, when I turn it back on the water doesn't flow. I have taken it apart several times and reconnected everything. This doesn't seem to help despite the too flow adjustments be on the maximum settings.
I also read in the instructions that the pump was suppossed to last about 3 months. This surprised me because even an inexpensive aquarium pump can run for years without burning out. Hopefully, mine will last longer, but for the cost I think a better pump should be provided.
In general, I love Alpine fountains and I own several. They are a step up from Homedics and some other more inexpensive brands. The other Alpine fountains I've been very happy with, but this one has some major issues (the one above) and some minor ones (below).
The minor issues with this fountain has been that it is tall and not perfectly stable. It doesn't fall over, but it definitely leans and if it's bumped it probably would fall. Also, when you need to get at the motor, the suction cups come off the casing and so does the small panel on the side. If I didn't have to play with the pump as often, this would only be a minor nuisance.
Perhaps I got a fountain that had a bad pump or just one that has design flaws. If you like the fountain, I think you can get a new pump fairly easily from Alpine, they seem to be good about cusotomer service. I will append this review if I give their customer service a call about some of these issues.

Kenroy Home Cubist Outdoor Floor Fountain in Natural Slate finish is 32.75" high Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When we put water in the reservoir of the fountain, it leaked. So we sealed the cracked caulk in the joint. We filled the fountain again and it still leaked. We called the maker of the fountain to find out what to use to waterproof the reservoir. They told us to use epoxy resin. So we bought that and sealed the whole reservoir. We will fill it again later to see if that fixed the problem. I'll have to say that the manufacturer of the fountain (Kenroy Home) was not too excited to talk to us about it since it was purchased from Amazon.com. We just figured they would be the experts on what to use. The fountain is really pretty and has the sound that I desired. Loud enough to hear, but nice and gentle. We hope the epoxy fixes the problem as we no longer have the packing materials, plus the fountain is slate and weighs 122 lbs.
After painting the inside with epoxy resin, the fountain did stop leaking. I love it and it has the sound I was after. I've enjoyed many hours of sitting outside, listening to fountain and birds and reading.

Deer Chaser Rocking Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We love our pond and wanted to make it complete with some kind of running water. Unfortunately we are not able to run electricity to our pond due to its distance from our house. Because of this we had to use a small solar panel and water pump. The deer chaser bamboo fountain is perfect for this set up. It doesn't require a large amount of flowing water to make it work. We have had it for a year now and it still works perfectly! I would recommend this product to anyone wanting something different for their pond or water garden.

Bridgeport Onyx Ceramic Waterer Replacement Filters 3-pk Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We recently purchased the actual Bridgeport Onyx Waterer Fountain from Dr. Fosters and Smith and I have to tell you, it's great! This picture is of the filters for the fountain but since I couldn't find the fountain (only at the Fosters site), I decided I had to give it a great review so that everyone knows to go there.
This fountain is amazingly quiet. We've gone through three plastic fountains: none of which our dog loved. In fact, he rejected all three and we ended up back at a ceramic bowl. Well, we'd hunted for a ceramic fountain and on seeing this one we gave it a go. The pump is smaller than the one one the plastic ones and I suspect it's quiet because of the heaviness of the ceramic piece itself. This is not light weight and it's gorgeous! It's a BIG water fountain and is two pieces. We have a Havanese and honestly - it's more water than we'd give him but the nice part is that it cascades down the side as it shows in the picture and leaves a nice pool area. He loves the cascade side and frequently goes there.
If you're hunting for a ceramic water fountain, this has it all: quiet, beautiful, and easy to clean. Ironically, the ceramic keeps the water cooler which he seems to like. I'm giving this five stars (for the fountain and the filter) and consider it the best buy ever.

ORE Intl K322 Indoor Round Table Fountain, 8-1/2-Inch Review
