(More customer reviews)Overall, this is a very nice product. Although it's resin (no surprise there), it has some heft to it (about 35 lbs). Assembly is a snap - you simply pass the pump's power cord down through the large lower basin and the two piece stand, hook the pump itself to the hose feeding out from the small upper basin, fill the larger basin with water and plug it in. Assembly takes about ten minutes and no tools are required - the weight of the stacked components holds it all together. Fit and finish are very good. In size, color, etc., this item looks exactly the way it does in its online photos. A nice feature is the lighting - the pump comes complete with two 10 watt bulbs that clip into the lower basin, creating a very pleasant effect.
The pump itself is whisper quiet, a plus. My only complaint, and a small one at that, is that the fountain makes very little water noise. The pump has an adjustable pressure switch, but even on high, it creates just a mild cascade of water. This may be less an issue of pump strength and more an issue of the very short distance from upper basin to lower - the longer the fall, the louder the water would be. Still, I'm really happy with it - now we'll see how it holds up.

Kenroy Home #50293SLCOP Tacora Horizontal Indoor/Outdoor Floor Fountain in Natural Slate Finish with Copper Accents Review

(More customer reviews)I loved the looks and the sound of this fountain when it worked. My only initial complaint was that it does not come with an on/off switch. However, it had lots of issues during its short lifespan. The light bulbs kept burning out (and they are expensive to replace). The pump clogged a bit too often (and is a hassle to remove and clean). Finally, after a year, the fountain started leaking from the slate sides, a little at first, but then it basically split vertically beyond repair. For replacement, I went with a completely different concept because I don't want to deal with the same issues again.

(More customer reviews)this thing is basically trash. i bought one last summer used it for july and august then stored it in my house away from any cold weather elements. i pull it out this summer and of course it leaks water comes down the back and sides everyday i have to add water to it (lots of water) i got screwed this thing is worth about $50 to me it seems like something you would buy at walmart on clearence after the summer.

Cons:
The fountain is fairly heavy and the hangers are not spaced to get them both into studs. I wouldn't trust the weight hanging on just drywall, even with anchors. Be prepared to have to mount the fountain to something else, like a piece of wood and then mount that securely to the wall.
When you turn on the fountain, the water runs in one or two streams down the face, not in a sheet. The sound is not pleasant at all. Even worse, when the water gets close to the outer edge, the border doesn't stand out far enough from the copper to deflect the water back toward the center. The stream of water ends up going over the border, down the wall and all over the floor. Tried to adjust the flow control, mounting and several other ideas, but nothing fixed the problem.
