Beehive Ceramic Table Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I liked the color and style of the fountain, but the base was a bit unevenly balanced in the making. I could have accepted that but the real problem was the manufacturers never included in the description that the fountain has red, white and blue lights reflecting through the water, and the colors reflected off the walls like a disco ball light. Hated to return it, but with all those colors spinning, it was hardly a relaxing fountain.

(More customer reviews)I have had this fountain for about 6 months, it works good and is quiet it is outside though, it says it can go in the dishwasher but it got a small crack from the heat, so over all it works great it must be cleaned often due to green slime from outside heat and light.

CatIt Fresh N' Clear Small Drinking Fountain Fresh N' Clear Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the second one that I have purchased. The first one got a little noisy after over a year of constant use. The cat loves it. It does have a low hum even when new and I wouldn't want to be sleeping in the same room. It helps to keep it filled up. Easy to clean out and reassemble.

Dog It 73651 Fresh and Clear Large Dog Fountain with Fresh and Clear Replacement Cartridge 3-Pack and Fountain Place Mat and Replacement Foam Insert 2-pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have a large Siberian Husky who needs a lot of water. This item is pleasing to the eye as well as convenient and allows my husky to enjoy as much water as she wants. I haven't had the need to change the filter yet, but it seems to be working exactly as advertised. I highly recommend. Refilling the water is a cinch and it's quiet and keeps the area very clean.

Petmate Fresh Flow Purifying Pet Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Do not be fooled by the picture or product description. What is actually being sold in is a FILTER. Reveiw of the product advertisment and description do not reveal this bit of information. I was highly upset and feel that this is false advertising. To say I was unhappy and dissatisfy would be an understatement.

Dog It 73651 Fresh and Clear Large Dog Fountain with Fresh and Clear Replacement Cartridge 3-Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This product is truly worth it, especially if you have multiple or a large dog.
We decided to buy it mostly because we grew tired of filling up our old small dog bowl 3-5 times a day. We have a rather large dog, so he tends to drink a lot of water.
Not only did this help with us having to fill it up every day, but it also keeps his water extremely fresh. Due to the water constantly moving, and because of the filter built in.
The pump for it isn't anything mind blowing, it seems like a rather cheap pump that is used for the bottom of a fish tank. We haven't had any problems with the pump yet at all.
The only problem my girlfriend has complained about is the fact that it is indeed so large. And she takes the whole bowl out like it says to, and fills it up with water when it's empty. Making it rather heavy when taking it back to place it on the base.
I've learned that you can take a pitcher of water and simply pour it on the blue bowl on the outside, and it will get pulled back into the bowl. Since overflow water already flows over the top and down the side of the blue bowl already, I see no issue with this. It's meant to flow over it like that so smaller dogs can actually drink from there. Our dog doesn't bother with it, he goes for the source. The only problem with this is that you can only pour so much in there at once this way, since it takes a moment for it to get sucked back into the bowl by the pump. But still beats carrying the heavy thing over to the sink and back.
At first we wasn't sure our dog was going to like it. He seemed really weirded out by it at first, and wouldn't really drink out of it. It took him a while to figure out that it was his new dog bowl, and now he loves it and has managed to pretty much empty the entire thing in as little as 3 days (he is a really big dog...) With the bowl sitting much higher up off the ground, it seems that it is easier on him to get something to drink. Which is also another huge plus.
I would recommend this to any pet owner, it's a great product so far. Allows you to not have to worry about watering your pet or keeping the water fresh for days. So you could even go on a weekend trip and not have to worry about your dog at home not having enough fresh water.

Pioneer Pet 6022 Ceramic Drinking Fountain, Raindrop Design Smartcat With 3 E... Review

(More customer reviews)It's charming and well made, but my cats are terrified of it! I thought after a week, they'd get with the program, but now they're licking the walls of the bathtub. The seller won't return it, per their agreement, so now what am I going to do with this expensive pet watering dish!?!?! Ug.:(

PETCO Premium Ceramic Cat Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I found a similar pet fountain on an airline magazine and came home to see if I could find it on Amazon.com. What appealed to me was the fact that it's ceramic, cutting down on bacteria. Our last one was plastic and started to get etched by bacteria and stuff. When it died, I needed to find a replacement and wanted to try a ceramic one. This one had NO reviews so I was taking a chance, but after researching and reading all the reviews on the others, I still found I wanted to try this one. OK, it's been here for just a few days, but our cat immediately took to it - no problems. He licks from the large bowl and also from the bubbling water at the top. He's always loved running water. I don't mind not having a reservoir because the bowl holds so much water already! It flows well,is quiet and doesn't splash. I'll have to see how well it does long term, but so far so good!

Continuously Filtered Water Ceramic Pet Drinking Fountain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our cats' food and water are in my work room at home and I've had a blue plastic Drinkwell roaring along in there for years (it has certainly served us well as one of our cats will only drink running water). I was so tired of cleaning the Drinkwell with all it's nooks and crannies so this one looked pretty good when I ran across it. It is really lovely, very, simple and elegant and is so, so quiet. It's like having a little zen fountain and the water stays very cool. Be warned, it is half again larger than a Drinkwell and a little heavy when full so it's difficult to carry to a sink to be emptied or cleaned without spilling a lot of water. We solved this by taking a big bowl (or you could take a small bucket) to the fountain, we pour out the water right there, then everything else is easy. This is a wonderful fountain both functionally and aesthetically. I guess most importantly, I left both fountain running next to each other for the first week, by then, this new one was the cats' fountain of choice.

Pioneer Platic Drinking Fountain Fung Shui Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this for my cat who loves to play with water. I didn't quite get the response I was hoping for though she does pay attention to it occasionally. She still prefers the bath tub! It does keep the water fresh and the bowl needs to be cleaned less often with the constant flow of water. My only real complaint is it's noisy especially if the water has gone down at all from full.Would I buy it again? Not sure :/

Pioneer Pet 6022 Ceramic Drinking Fountain, Raindrop Design Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the first time I've bought a fountain for my cat, and I've done quite a bit of research on them. Though there isnt much information about this fountain online compared to the drinkwell and petmate fountains, I went for this one after seeing what the insides of the other fountains looked like. I wanted to write this review in amazon so others can get a bit more information so they can make an informed choice.
The main advantages that this fountain has over others are:
1. It's CERAMIC. No scratches in the plastic leading to bacteria. No allergies to the plastic, which some cats get.
2. QUIET PUMP. The pump is absolutely silent. There are three settings on the pump and the first one gives no sounds whatsoever. I have it set on the second setting to get the sound of trickling water. The pump is still quet.
3. EASY TO CLEAN. This was the main reason I got this one. The Drinkwell and petmate fountains requires disassembly and cleaning with special brushes. This fountain is only THREE PARTS. The top part where the water flows down, the main bowl, and the pump. Since it's ceramic, I basically set it at the hottest water setting to scrub it down and sanitize. No special brushes, no bleeding knuckles.
4. NO LEAKS. Just because of the way this fountain is designed (top ceramic dish sits on top of the main bowl), there is no way it can possibly leak. Unless you crack the ceramic dishes, of course!
5. It's pretty.
The only thing I wonder about the other fountains is whether or not my cat would like the waterfall-type fountains. My cat seems to like to drink out of the part where the water comes out of the pump more than out of the bowl. Nevertheless, he gets fresh water and seems to enjoy it.
So far, I'm satisfied with the fountain, and my cat seems to like it, too. As for the pump, I'll have to see how long it lasts.
