(More customer reviews)I found a similar pet fountain on an airline magazine and came home to see if I could find it on Amazon.com. What appealed to me was the fact that it's ceramic, cutting down on bacteria. Our last one was plastic and started to get etched by bacteria and stuff. When it died, I needed to find a replacement and wanted to try a ceramic one. This one had NO reviews so I was taking a chance, but after researching and reading all the reviews on the others, I still found I wanted to try this one. OK, it's been here for just a few days, but our cat immediately took to it - no problems. He licks from the large bowl and also from the bubbling water at the top. He's always loved running water. I don't mind not having a reservoir because the bowl holds so much water already!It flows well,is quiet and doesn't splash. I'll have to see how well it does long term, but so far so good!
