The Hunter Montpelier Copper and Slate Floor Water Fountain adds the soothing sound of gently falling water to our home environment. Our waterfall is on a stand in the corner of our dining room and is quite eyecatching even without the water flowing. We have received many compliments from guests about how restful the sound is and how beautiful the fountain itself looks. You can highlight the slate tiles as they gleam with cascading water with the flick of a switch making for a dramatic visual display.
A little fine tuning to get just the right balance when hanging the tiles is necessary so that the water doesn't splatter anywhere but into its base. The fountain holds a suprising amount of water. At first, I didn't think there were enough of the small stones to cover the base but, in fact, there were a sufficient number of them. Other than the occassional splatter of water, we have enjoyed the tranquility the Montpelier fountain has provided very much. ~ Mrs. B.
