I decided to get a stronger (3000-4000 gph) pump under the Savio brand, only to find out that the price was much higher than Pondmaster and the operating cost was much higher. So I did quite a bit of research and decided on this pump. I'm glad I did, because I saved myself at least $150 on the pump, and about $.40 per hour operating. Good price, great pump

Beckett 7104710 Waterfall and Stream Pump 1172gph Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this same pump about 5 years ago and it ran well all those years. This spring, the muck did not get sufficiently cleaned out before the pump was turned on and it became clogged and burned out. I propped the new one up off the bottom and check it every once in awhile to make sure it is clear of debris. Works great!
