Fresh Flow Replacement Filter 2 pk Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I cannot believe I'm writing a review of the filters for my Pet Fountain...but here goes. The Pet Fountain itself is fabulous...and these filters do work and catch all the guck in the air, hair, dust, etc. to keep it working well and the water clean. My cats (and dog) love the fresh, moving water. The filters themselves? We live in the country, so there are dirt paths to the house and a lot of dust comes in and our pets are indoor/outdoor animals. The filter needs changing every month, so for a year's worth you will need 6 packages of 2 filters, but they are not expensive and do keep the Fountain working optimally.

Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow 108 oz. Purifying Pet Fountain in Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I think the idea of this fountain is good. My cat enjoyed drinking from the stream that runs down from the top, once she decided she wasn't scared of it two days after she was introduced. The water seemed to evaporate very quickly, which meant I was filling up the reserve container every other day, which kind of defeats the purpose of me having something that holds large amounts of water. My cat is a longhair so it seemed more hair ended up in it than I would like. Although their is a filter, it wasn't able to filter much. There seemed to always be a slimy top to the water. I have triple filtered water in my house so I know my water is not the issue. I had to pull this thing apart every 4-6 days to clean it out completely & it was a pain. I packed it up & went back to the bowl of water I can clean each day & give it fresh. I will use this again when we go out of town for more than a day but other than that, It is too much work to keep up with it.

Bergan Petite Gourmet 1.5 Gallon Waterer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The bottle stays quite securely in the base, and the walls of the base are high enough that my dogs generally don't spill the water out of it. Of course the entire unit can be tipped over, but overall it's quite sturdy and stays upright unless pushed over quite hard (e.g., when one of my dogs has a seizure).
What I like best about the unit is it's easy to fill in a regular sink, e.g., a not-deep bathroom sink. It appears the manufacturer sized the water container intentionally for this, as it's pretty nearly a perfect fit in my sink to fill.
It has a wide opening so looks like it will be easy to clean if/when I need to (I haven't yet). The water is controlled in coming out by a separate little cap/hole in the lid. With that open and the container in place on the base, the water trickles out into the water dish portion.
The cap is very secure, but sometimes it's a bit hard to get it aligned so it screws on tightly.
Overall, I'm very happy with these units. I've bought several of them for my rather large dogs.

Petmate Le Bistro Waterer with Microban Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)For whatever reason, my kitties seem to enjoy drinking from the Le Bistro waterer more than from their water dishes. Maybe it's the novelty. I do think it will be a good solution for supplying them with fresh water when I'm away.
It *is* a bit on the light side, though. I put mine in a narrow space between a cabinet and a wall, to make sure they don't use it as a toy and slide it all over the floor.
Update: I stopped using this after finding it one morning tipped over with water all over the floor. It's just too light for a young, playful cat.

Catit Drinking Fountain Circulating Pump Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Also thought my pump was fried. Read another review saying there are 2 parts of the pump that will come apart to clean - knew about the first part - not the 2nd - when I dismantled the pump further - found the white spinny part that was clogged w/cat hair - cleaned it and pump is as good as new!
