I bought these strips as a more convenient way to test the pond water. To test their accuracy, I have always used the pond drops (Ammonia, Nitrite, Ph)and compared the results to these strips. To date, the strips have rarely agreed on Ph; however Ammonia and Nitrite levels are a bit more accurate but the more expensive and inconvenient drops seem to be the only way to go for me. The seller shipped them fast and the price was about the same as everyone else's. There are other test results provided by these strips (alkalinity, water hardness, etc.)...I have no idea whether those results are accurate or not because I am not willing to spend the money to test them versus chemical drops. My main use of these 50 strips is to test the water and have my young grandchildren compare the results to the chart provided for educational purposes and a fun pond activity other than feeding the fish. I personally do not trust the results because I do not think they are as accurate as I would like them to be.
