(More customer reviews)This fountain is very nice and it is also a well built unit (i.e. sturdy and a little heavy keeping it stable). It works perfectly and looks great.
That said, here are my only comments. First, the product description does not say that it only runs for 30-60 seconds or that to activate the water flow you have to make a sharp noise. Such as clapping or knocking on the table. I found that a little disappointing since I wanted it to constantly run while I have it on at my desk.
Second thing, the finish wasn't aged as much as the photo showed. I added some aging myself and perhaps it will age a little more through use.
Third and last... the chimes don't make a sound. They would if the water made them click together, but it doesn't. I'm going to try changing the string to a lighter, more mobile type in hopes that will make the chimes more mobile and thus actually chime. Perhaps the idea was that this unit would be used outside... but I kinda don't think so since it doesn't seem suited for outdoor use.
In closing, I do like the fountain a lot and recommend it.
