(More customer reviews)I have a 45lb dog and 2 cats so the fountain motor would be yelling at me right after one visit from the dog. It got so bad that my dog started avoiding the fountain and ate the snow outside instead. Guess she was tired of hearing the motor followed by my complaints. So I finally decided that I would buy the reservoir and continue with my laziness. I'm glad I did! 70 oz is the way to go!
I was worried that it would leak, like some reviews said, but there's only a small opening at the bottom of the clear plastic reservoir which drains water down into the fountain. As long as you line it up and tip it slowly, you won't have any messy spills. Very easy to install.
Hopefully I'll have a video review up soon showing the ease of putting it on.
