(More customer reviews)After trying another brand multiple times (because it was less expensive and available for prime shipping) that arrived not working, I went with these (the next less expensive prime option and halogen vs. LED). They have worked since installation w/o issue. The length or cord between the lights could be a bit greater - if you get these, your lights will be pretty close together. If that works for you, these are the ones.

Poolmaster 54510 Grecian Floating Pool Fountain Review

(More customer reviews)The fountain unit is good but the hose was too thin and fittings too weak to run off the pool cleaner outlet I had to buy a thicker hose and hose clamps. The pool cleaner adaptor is just barely large enough, with loads of Teflon tape otherwise it just blows off when turned on.
Once I got the unit to work using the pool cleaner pump, it did lower the pool temp 10 degrees, which in Texas, makes the pool temperature very comfortable. The unit is not an easy install however.

(More customer reviews)These things look great when they are working. As someone mentioned they do make a lot of distracting noise,, but beyond that, they are poorly manufactured. I bought a total of 10 of them from two different suppliers, and from each at two different times, depending on who had the best price at the time. One by one they have stopped working until now I have only two out of the ten still working. I have taken a few apart and it looks like water leaks into the electronics and destroys it. Since I have a masters in electrical engineering, I am now trying to redesign them so that they work from real power instead on the noisy water generators. If you buy one, my advise is to take it apart, and coat all electronics with RTV to protect it from the water. If not, plan on it to stop working within a week.

STI Group Infinity 130 GPH Magnetic Drive Submersible Pump with Variable Flow Control Review

(More customer reviews)I have to say I'm disappointed with this pump, but for the price I paid I likely shouldn't complain.
This is much closer to a 70gph-80gph pump, no kidding. The difference is barely noticeable from the 60gph pump I bought this to replace, even when running wide open. That said, it does come with standard adapters for 3/8" and 1/2" inside diameter attachments. I've learned in the DIY water garden world standardization is a plus, not a guarantee, thus the kudo.
Unfortunately the Amazon description doesn't tell you the adapters are all you'll get. The manual (universal to the product line no doubt) for this pump will inform you that if you buy the SP-160 which is one step up and not much more you'll also receive not only the 3/8", and 1/2" adapters, but a flow control valve, a volcano nozzle, a water bell nozzle, and enough raising pipe for a 24" display. Needless to say, it's a much better deal. The VP-300 model has all that and more and I'm guessing will approximate the flow I'm looking for. Though I'm disappointed with this one I did find a use for it in making my turtle spit. I think I'll try the VP-300 for my standing fountain.

(More customer reviews)Having had many of these types of lights (mostly solar), I have finally found one that has the features, the power and looks to rank above poor. The auto turn off is a great feature, the lights are bright and the selections of light shows are fun. The motorized settings will run the batteries down (obviously) much faster then the light only settings, but if you wish to create a fun atmosphere, this light will do it.
I gave it five stars because I just do not see how they could improve it, beyond adding an internal rechargeable battery system (not solar). As it is, I am going to purchase two more and have three going at my next pool party.

It works very well and adds a working water feature to an area without access to power. Shadows from trees or other sources will interrupt the flow of water but in full sun I get a 10 or 12-inch high spray. Very satisfied with this product!

Plus the noise. I could understand the noise thinking that the "motor" was generating electricity for the LEDs. Now..it is just annoying.
Assembly was pretty easy. Just time to trash this and find a non-LED unit.
First time I have written a review (bought dozens of products from Amazon)..you gotta know I dislike this thing. Money well wasted.

Sparkling 3-Tier Swimming Pool Fountain Review

(More customer reviews)The fountain is an attractive addition to the pool but we purchased it to lower the temperature of the pool water and it does! Living in Oklahoma, our pool water had reached 94 degrees by June! Not only was the pool no longer refreshing but it was becoming very costly trying to combat algae. The fountain dropped the pool temp to 88 in just a few hours and drops it to 84 if we leave it on overnight (this is during the 100 degrees weather!)
Our only complaint is that it seemed to have a leak where water was getting in to the fountain base causing it to spin. We drilled a small hole, emptied the water and corked it. It is working perfectly again.

Game 3567 Mini Underwater Light Show and Fountain Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 20 foot diameter above ground pool with a 3 and 1/2 foot depth. The light show is actually pretty cool. It does a variety of blinking and steady colored lights, constantly changing colors. The fountain changes colors along with the underwater light show. It is actually a neat pool accessory when it is completely dark outside. The down side is that it only lights up an area of around 6 feet in diameter. The fountain pump tends to run down as any battery powered toy does and the fountain shrinks in size as time passes by. You have to turn the power off every 10 minutes or so and this rejuvenates the pump. The fountain spray rises as high as two feet or higher, but then shrinks to only 6 inches after about 10 minutes or so. You need to make sure the battery compartment cover is properly seated in the grooves on the fountain light, and the compartment ring is tightened properly. Otherwise you may have water enter the compartment and damage the batteries and the inner electronics. I got my light show and fountain at a reduced price, so didn't mind paying what I paid. Would recommend if you have a pool my size or larger that you get 2 or 3 of these if you really want to spice things up in the pool.

It has multiple settings and you increas or decrease the strength of the water fall by an opening on the next to the return. It can spray 30 ft up in the air. Great to airate your pool keeping it a little cooler; however, the sound of the water fall is refreshing itself (often just sitting on the deck or around the pool is simply relaxing!
