(More customer reviews)This order is not my first from this company and I have found them to be quick and reliable. The Cutrine-Plus pond algaecide has really worked well for me. I have a small lake that had a good bit of moss and I used other products and the moss came back. I also used the blue dye and it made the water pretty for a while but didn't stop the moss. I mixed the Cutrine-Plus at a rate of 1 part algaecide to 10 parts water in a pump-up sprayer,as the instructions stated, and sprayed it mostly on the mossey areas until I used up the gallon of algaecide. Within 4 days the moss was gone. The instructions indicated I needed more than one gallon and I ordered another gallon, but so far, I haven't needed it but will use it if/when needed.

PondCare 169J Algae Fix, 2-1/2 Gallon Review

(More customer reviews)I have tried SAB, and other products, but none does the job like Alagefix. It knocks out string alage and keeps my 4000 gallon pond, 20 foot stream, & waterfall clean and clear, but yet keeps the eco-system in check. It is not harmful to my fish or my cat who likes to drink out of the pond (I think he likes to do a little fishing of his own, but luckly he is not very good at it). I usuallly add about a 1/2 cup in the skimmer once a week or every other week depending upon the weather conditions. It nice to find a product that does what it claims to do.

Next step....find someone to give me a sample of the commercial grade algaeway and try that. Step after that? Give up and throw in some chlorine.

(More customer reviews)Used this in combination with a sock filled with peat moss and within 1 week my pond was clear (12'x6' pond). Could not recommend it more highly. Also, not sure if this will work but...I poured in about a 1/4 of the bottle into another bottle that had 3/4 of it filled with pond water. The idea is to keep the bacterial solution going so I can use it throughout the summer without paying for more (should I need it).

But when I got it I found that it was little packets of material to be added to the pond. I get the impression that this is something else entirely. It took three treatments, the fish were fine and I've been maintaining it once a week with no problem. The only thing you have to be careful with is keeping your pump on while using it. We never shut ours off, so it was not a problem. I read the previous review also, and I don't know why it worked for us and not for that owner, but I recommend this with no hesitation.
