Cutrine-Plus pond algaecide - Gallon Review

(More customer reviews)This order is not my first from this company and I have found them to be quick and reliable. The Cutrine-Plus pond algaecide has really worked well for me. I have a small lake that had a good bit of moss and I used other products and the moss came back. I also used the blue dye and it made the water pretty for a while but didn't stop the moss. I mixed the Cutrine-Plus at a rate of 1 part algaecide to 10 parts water in a pump-up sprayer,as the instructions stated, and sprayed it mostly on the mossey areas until I used up the gallon of algaecide. Within 4 days the moss was gone. The instructions indicated I needed more than one gallon and I ordered another gallon, but so far, I haven't needed it but will use it if/when needed.

(More customer reviews)Used this in combination with a sock filled with peat moss and within 1 week my pond was clear (12'x6' pond). Could not recommend it more highly. Also, not sure if this will work but...I poured in about a 1/4 of the bottle into another bottle that had 3/4 of it filled with pond water. The idea is to keep the bacterial solution going so I can use it throughout the summer without paying for more (should I need it).

But when I got it I found that it was little packets of material to be added to the pond. I get the impression that this is something else entirely. I have used it and suppose that it is ok but It is not what I expected.

Healthy Ponds 10140 Fountain Water Cleaner with (2) Refills Review

I used a high-pressure water hose to remove the scale and then plopped one of these in the bowl. It's been over a month now, and this product seems to be working. I don't see any scale. However, there is some kind of scum in the water. That's new. Maybe algae? I'll definitely keep using it, though.
