(More customer reviews)Yes there is no replacement for keeping a good eye on children who may gain access to your pool. But that is why it is called an accident. I have only tested this device in my utility sink and it seems to work very well. Gives off an ear piercing alarm for 3 minutes then resets itself. The wireless remote alarm worked great too and has st of N.O./N.C. contacts, if you wanted to hook this into your security system. The manual says the remote will receive from 200 feet "line of sight" distance.
Okay everybody today wants to learn by doing and playing with things. But with something this important you should read the well written instructions (only 2 sheets). So watch the kids and have one of these as a backup and try to prevent those painful accidents.
